This new-type glass drill bit offers outstanding advantages, including sharp cutting performance, long-lasting durability, self-sharpening (no regrinding required), minimal edge chipping, high efficiency, and a high yield of finished glass drilling. It is an ideal choice for drilling household-appliance glass, electronic glass, shower enclosure glass, and architectural/building glass.

When using this drill bit, you must ensure sufficient internal water supply under adequate pressure. If conditions allow, external water spraying can also be added. The water pressure determines the cooling effect and chip/flushing performance when the diamond section rotates at high speed and rubs against the glass, which directly affects the drill bit’s service life and sharpness. With correct use, each drill bit can drill a total glass depth of 50–70 m, and on 10 mm glass it can drill 15,000+ holes.

Our factory’s 4 mm–60 mm self-sharpening drill bits can be used continuously without regrinding once the optimal spindle speed and feed rate are properly set—simply use them until the end of their service life. If, during use, you notice excessive edge chipping or reduced sharpness, you can re-sharpen the cutting edge using a #120–#140 white alumina (white corundum) grinding wheel, and then continue using the bit.

Although the drill bit has a self-sharpening (automatic edge-forming) function during friction with the glass, please keep the feed rate within 1.5 mm per second for the first 100 holes. After 100 holes, you may gradually increase the feed rate. For the best performance and service life, please use the drill bit correctly. Thank you for your cooperation!
